Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use CodedOK we collect:

• Your name, email address and (optionally) business name when you sign up.
• The vessel, certificate, equipment, crew and SMS information you enter into the app.
• Photos and documents you add (such as certificate scans).
• Notification subscription details (push endpoint + keys) if you opt in to reminders.
• Standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) for security and debugging.

How we use it

To run the service, deliver expiry reminders, support you, and improve the app. We don't sell your data and don't share it with third parties for marketing.

Who hosts your data

Application database and authentication: Supabase (data hosted in the EU region). Static app delivery: Cloudflare. Email delivery: Resend. Error monitoring: Sentry (if enabled). All process data as our data processor under appropriate Data Processing Agreements.

Your rights (UK GDPR / DPA 2018)

You can request access, correction, portability, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To delete your account, open Account → Delete account in the app, or email privacy@codedok.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

Cookies and analytics

We use local storage for offline functionality and a session token for sign-in. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate — IP addresses are anonymised before processing. No advertising cookies, no third-party marketing trackers.
